Gamzigrad, located near Zaječar in eastern Serbia, is an ancient archaeological site that was once the residence of the Roman Emperor Galerius. Known as Felix Romuliana, this late Roman palace complex was constructed in the early 4th century and is renowned for its impressive fortifications, palace buildings, temples, and intricate mosaics. The site was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007 due to its historical significance and well-preserved architectural elements.
