Garachico is a picturesque town located on the northern coast of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spain. Known for its charming historic center, Garachico boasts cobblestone streets, traditional Canarian architecture, and beautifully preserved colonial buildings. The town has a rich history, having been an important port until a volcanic eruption in 1706 partially destroyed it. Today, Garachico is a popular tourist destination, offering natural attractions such as its famous lava rock pools, known as "El Caletón," and the scenic coastline. Visitors can also explore cultural sites like the Church of Santa Ana and the Convento de San Francisco.
