The Garden of One Thousand Buddhas, located in Arlee, Montana, is a remarkable spiritual site and botanical garden dedicated to promoting peace and compassion. Nestled within the Jocko Valley on the Flathead Indian Reservation, this serene sanctuary features a stunning arrangement of one thousand hand-cast Buddha statues encircling a central figure of Yum Chenmo, the Great Mother. The garden, established by Tibetan Buddhist master Gochen Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche, is designed in the shape of an eight-spoked Dharma wheel, symbolizing the path to enlightenment.
