Gas Works Park in Seattle, Washington, is a unique public park located on the site of a former coal gasification plant on the northern shore of Lake Union. The park retains many of the plant's original structures, which have been repurposed and integrated into the landscape, creating an industrial-chic aesthetic. Designed by landscape architect Richard Haag, the park features open green spaces, picnic areas, a play barn, and a large hill offering panoramic views of the Seattle skyline and the lake.
