The Gate of the Sun is an ancient monolithic stone arch located in Tiwanaku, an important archaeological site near Lake Titicaca in Bolivia. Believed to have been constructed by the Tiwanaku culture around 500 to 950 AD, the gate is intricately carved with various symbolic and astronomical motifs, including a central figure often referred to as the "Sun God" or "Staff God.
