The George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, Virginia, is a significant landmark dedicated to the memory of George Washington and his contributions to Freemasonry. Standing as a towering neoclassical structure, the memorial was completed in 1932 and is designed to resemble the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria in Egypt. The memorial houses a museum, library, and various exhibits that celebrate the life of Washington and the history of Freemasonry in America.
