Gethsemane Church, located in the Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin, Germany, is a historically significant Protestant church known for its remarkable role during the peaceful revolution against the East German government in 1989. Constructed between 1891 and 1893, the church is an example of Neo-Gothic architecture. It became a focal point for opposition activities, prayer vigils, and meetings of dissidents, especially during the months leading up to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
