Gran Paradiso National Park, located in the Graian Alps of northwestern Italy, is the country's oldest national park, established in 1922. Named after Gran Paradiso mountain, which stands at an impressive 4,061 meters, the park spans over 700 square kilometers of stunning alpine scenery. It boasts a rich biodiversity, including species such as ibex, chamois, marmots, and golden eagles. The park offers a variety of outdoor activities, from hiking and climbing to wildlife watching and nature photography. Trails range from easy walks to challenging climbs, making it accessible to visitors of all levels.
