Grand-Pré National Historic Site, located in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Canada, commemorates the Acadian people and their expulsion from the region in 1755. This historic site features a memorial church, beautiful gardens, and statues that honor the memory and resilience of the Acadian community. Visitors can explore exhibits detailing the history and culture of the Acadians, as well as the impactful events of the Grand Dérangement (Great Expulsion).
