The Great Mosque of Kufa, located in Kufa, Iraq, is one of the oldest and holiest mosques in the Islamic world. Established in the 7th century, it holds immense historical and religious significance, particularly within Shia Islam. The mosque is reputed to be the site where Imam Ali, the first Shia Imam and the fourth Caliph of Islam, delivered many sermons and was later assassinated. It is also believed to be the location where Noah's Ark was constructed and where the Prophet Abraham prayed.
