Guanyin of Nanshan is an impressive statue situated in Sanya, on Hainan Island, China. Standing at a height of 108 meters (354 feet), it is one of the tallest statues in the world. This impressive figure represents the bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, known as Guanyin in Chinese Buddhism, who embodies compassion and mercy. The statue features three different faces, symbolizing Guanyin's ability to observe the world from multiple perspectives and offer her blessings in all directions.
