Haghartsin Monastery

Haghartsin Monastery is a stunning medieval complex located near the town of Dilijan in Armenia. Surrounded by the lush forests of the Dilijan National Park, the monastery dates back to the 10th-13th centuries and is a remarkable example of Armenian ecclesiastical architecture. The complex includes several churches, a dining hall, and a number of khachkars (carved stone crosses). The main church, St. Astvatsatsin, was built in 1281 and showcases intricate carvings and elegant design.
