Hakgala Botanical Garden

Hakgala Botanical Garden, located in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, is one of the country's most picturesque garden landscapes. Situated at an elevation of about 1,745 meters above sea level, it is renowned for its cool climate and stunning scenery. The garden spans nearly 28 hectares and features an extensive collection of flora, including roses, ferns, and orchids. Established in 1861, it serves both as a horticultural research station and a popular tourist attraction.
