Haystack Rock is a prominent geological formation located in Cannon Beach, Oregon, USA. Rising 235 feet above the shoreline, it is one of the tallest intertidal structures in the world. This iconic sea stack is part of the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge and is home to a diverse array of marine life, including tide pools teeming with starfish, anemones, and other sea creatures. During certain seasons, visitors can also spot puffins and other seabirds nesting on the rock. Haystack Rock is easily accessible at low tide, making it a popular destination for tourists and naturalists alike.
