Het Scheepvaartmuseum, also known as The National Maritime Museum, is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and is dedicated to the rich maritime history of the country. Housed in a former naval storehouse dating back to 1656, the museum features a vast collection of nautical artifacts, including detailed ship models, historical maps, and navigational instruments. One of its main attractions is a replica of the Dutch East India Company ship, the Amsterdam, moored outside the museum.
