The Hofburg in Vienna, Austria, is a sprawling palace complex that has been the seat of power for the Habsburg dynasty for over six centuries. Originally a medieval castle, it expanded over time to become the imperial winter residence and now serves as the official residence and workplace of the President of Austria. The Hofburg encompasses a range of architectural styles, from Gothic to Baroque, and houses significant cultural institutions such as the Austrian National Library, the Imperial Apartments, the Sisi Museum, and the Spanish Riding School.
