Hōkoku-ji is a renowned Rinzai Zen temple located in Kamakura, Japan, known for its beautiful bamboo grove. Founded in 1334 during the Kamakura period, the temple was originally established to honor the Ashikaga clan. One of its most striking features is the garden, which includes a picturesque bamboo forest with over 2,000 Moso bamboo trees. Visitors can enjoy a serene atmosphere, often enhanced by the gentle sound of the wind rustling through the bamboo.
