Île Tintamarre is a small, uninhabited island located roughly 3 kilometers off the northeastern coast of Saint Martin in the Caribbean. Covering an area of about 0.8 square kilometers, the island is part of the French overseas collectivity of Saint Martin. Known for its pristine beaches, clear turquoise waters, and rich marine life, Île Tintamarre is a popular destination for day-trippers seeking a serene and natural escape. The island has an interesting history, including periods when it served as an airstrip and a cotton plantation, remnants of which can still be explored.
