Ilha Fiscal is a small island located in Guanabara Bay, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is renowned for its picturesque neo-Gothic castle, which was designed by the engineer Adolfo del Vecchio and completed in 1889. The island gained historical significance as the site of the last grand imperial ball held by Emperor Dom Pedro II, just days before the proclamation of the Brazilian Republic.
