The Indiana World War Memorial Plaza in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a sprawling urban plaza dedicated to honoring the state's veterans. Spanning five city blocks, the centerpiece of the plaza is the Indiana World War Memorial, a striking neoclassical building designed to resemble the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus. The plaza also features the American Legion Mall, the Veterans Memorial Plaza with its iconic obelisk, and the USS Indianapolis Memorial.
