International Rose Test Garden

The International Rose Test Garden in Portland, Oregon, is one of the oldest public rose test gardens in the United States, established in 1917. Nestled in Washington Park, it spans over 4.5 acres and features more than 10,000 rose bushes representing around 650 varieties. The garden serves as a testing ground for new rose varieties, assessing their color, fragrance, disease resistance, and other attributes. Known for its stunning displays, the garden attracts visitors from around the world, especially during its peak blooming season between May and October.
