Ishiyama-dera, located in Ōtsu, Japan, is a historic Buddhist temple renowned for its picturesque setting and cultural significance. Established in 749, it belongs to the Shingon sect of Buddhism and is dedicated to Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy.
