Islote Sucre, also known as Santa Cruz del Islote, is a small, densely populated island located off the coast of Colombia in the Caribbean Sea. It is part of the San Bernardo Archipelago and is renowned for being one of the most crowded islands in the world. The island measures approximately 0.012 square kilometers (1.2 hectares) and is home to around 500 to 1,200 residents, depending on the season, resulting in an extremely high population density. The island features colorful houses, narrow pathways, and a close-knit community that relies heavily on fishing and tourism for their livelihood.
