Jambay Lhakhang is one of the oldest and most revered temples in Bhutan, located in the town of Jakar in the Bumthang Valley. It was built in the 7th century by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo as part of his mission to construct 108 temples in a single day to subdue a demoness and spread Buddhism across the region. The temple is renowned for its intricate architecture, beautiful murals, and sacred relics.
