Jersey Zoo, located in the parish of Trinity near St Helier, Jersey, was established in 1959 by the renowned naturalist and author Gerald Durrell. Originally named the Jersey Zoological Park, it is operated by the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. The zoo is dedicated to the conservation of endangered species and houses a variety of animals from around the world, including rare and threatened species.
