The José Martí Memorial in Havana, Cuba, is a towering tribute to the national hero and poet José Martí. Located in the Plaza de la Revolución, the memorial features a 109-meter tall star-shaped tower made of grey Cuban marble, which is the highest point in Havana. At the base of the tower stands a white marble statue of Martí, who played a crucial role in the fight for Cuba's independence from Spain.
