Kelimutu National Park, located on the island of Flores in Indonesia, is renowned for its stunning tri-colored crater lakes, which are the park's main attraction. These lakes, known as Tiwu Ata Bupu (Lake of Old People), Tiwu Ko'o Fai Nuwa Muri (Lake of Young Men and Maidens), and Tiwu Ata Polo (Enchanted Lake), are famous for their striking and ever-changing colors, which can shift from blue and green to red and black due to the varying mineral content and geothermal activity. The park is also a haven for biodiversity, home to numerous endemic species of flora and fauna. Visitors can explore various trekking routes that offer breathtaking views of the lakes and surrounding landscapes.
