Klaipėda Castle, located in the port city of Klaipėda, Lithuania, is a historic fortress with origins dating back to the 13th century. Originally constructed by the Teutonic Knights, the castle played a strategic role in regional defense and trade. Over the centuries, it has witnessed numerous conflicts and changes in ownership, reflecting the tumultuous history of the Baltic region. Although much of the original structure has not survived, ongoing archaeological excavations and restoration efforts have helped to preserve and showcase its remnants.
