Kosteröarna, also known as the Koster Islands, is an enchanting archipelago located off the west coast of Sweden, near the border with Norway. Comprising the two main islands, South Koster (Sydkoster) and North Koster (Nordkoster), this region is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and unique biodiversity. The islands are part of the Kosterhavet National Park, Sweden's first marine national park, which was established in 2009. The park is home to a rich array of marine life, including colorful coral reefs and diverse fish species. Visitors to Kosteröarna can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, kayaking, and diving, all while taking in the breathtaking coastal scenery. The islands also feature charming villages, with quaint cottages and local eateries offering a taste of traditional Swedish cuisine.
