Kuusisto Castle, located in Kaarina, Finland, is a historic medieval fortress that dates back to the 14th century. Originally built by the Catholic Church to serve as the residence for the Bishop of Turku, the castle played a significant role in the religious and political life of the region. Over the centuries, it witnessed numerous historical events, including conflicts and shifts in power. By the 16th century, the castle had fallen into disrepair and was eventually ordered to be demolished by King Gustav I of Sweden.
