Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya's most renowned natural attractions, located in the Great Rift Valley. This shallow, alkaline lake is part of Lake Nakuru National Park, which spans approximately 188 square kilometers. The lake is famous for its vast flocks of flamingos that gather to feed on the abundant algae, creating a stunning pink spectacle along the shoreline. In addition to flamingos, the park is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including white and black rhinos, lions, leopards, and various species of antelopes and birds. The surrounding landscape features acacia woodlands, grasslands, and rocky cliffs, offering a picturesque setting for wildlife viewing and photography.
