Lake Parón is a stunning glacial lake located in the Cordillera Blanca, part of the Peruvian Andes. Situated at an elevation of approximately 4,200 meters (13,780 feet) above sea level, it is the largest lake in the Cordillera Blanca. Renowned for its turquoise-blue waters, the lake is surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks, including the iconic Artesonraju, which some believe inspired the Paramount Pictures logo.
