Landsberg Prison, located in Landsberg am Lech, Germany, is a notable correctional facility with a significant historical background. It was originally constructed in 1910 and has served various functions over the decades. One of its most infamous inmates was Adolf Hitler, who was incarcerated there in 1924 following the failed Beer Hall Putsch. During his time in Landsberg Prison, Hitler wrote his manifesto, "Mein Kampf." After World War II, the prison was used by the Allies to hold Nazi war criminals.
