Laughing Bird Caye is a small, picturesque island located off the coast of Placencia in Belize. It is part of the Belize Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and serves as a protected national park. The island is named after the Laughing Gull, a bird species that was once abundant on the caye.
