It is named "Le Pouce," which means "The Thumb" in French, due to its distinctive thumb-like shape. This mountain is part of the Moka Range and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the capital city, Port Louis, and the central plateau. Le Pouce is a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts, featuring a relatively moderate trail that can be completed in a few hours.
