The Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan in Teluk Intan, Malaysia, is an iconic historical landmark that resembles a Chinese pagoda. Constructed in 1885 by contractor Leong Choon Chong, this remarkable structure was originally intended to serve as a water tank to store water for the town during droughts and to fight fires. Standing at a height of approximately 25.5 meters with eight levels, the tower has a noticeable tilt, which has earned it the nickname "Malaysia's Leaning Tower." The tilt is due to the soft ground on one side and the weight of the water tank. Over the years, the tower has also functioned as a timekeeping structure with a clock on the fourth floor.
