About

Letchworth State Park, often referred to as the "Grand Canyon of the East," is a stunning natural area located in western New York. The park spans over 14,000 acres along the Genesee River, which has carved a deep gorge with cliffs that rise up to 600 feet in some areas. Visitors can explore over 66 miles of hiking trails, enjoy scenic overlooks, and witness the park's three major waterfalls: the Upper, Middle, and Lower Falls. In addition to its natural beauty, Letchworth State Park offers a variety of recreational activities, including camping, fishing, and whitewater rafting.
