Lida Castle

Lida Castle, located in Lida, Belarus, is a historic fortress built in the 14th century by the Grand Duke of Lithuania, Gediminas. Constructed primarily from red brick, the castle was strategically positioned to defend the region from invasions and played a crucial role in the military history of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The fortress features two main towers and robust walls that have withstood numerous sieges over the centuries.
