Liérganes is a picturesque town located in the autonomous community of Cantabria, northern Spain. Known for its charming historic center and rich cultural heritage, Liérganes boasts well-preserved architecture from the 17th and 18th centuries. The town is also famous for the legend of "El Hombre Pez" (The Fish Man), a local folktale about a man who supposedly transformed into a fish and lived in the sea for years.
