Limburg Cathedral, also known as St. George's Cathedral, is a stunning example of late Romanesque architecture located in Limburg an der Lahn, Germany. Perched on a rock above the Lahn River, the cathedral's distinctive appearance is characterized by its harmonious blend of Romanesque and early Gothic elements. Constructed between 1200 and 1235, it boasts seven towers and a richly decorated façade with intricate stone carvings. The interior is equally impressive, featuring beautiful frescoes and a striking high altar.
