Ludwigsburg Palace, located in Ludwigsburg, Germany, is one of the largest Baroque palaces in the country. Often referred to as the "Versailles of Swabia," the palace was built under the direction of Duke Eberhard Ludwig of Württemberg in the early 18th century. The expansive complex includes 452 rooms spread over 18 buildings and is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, including the prominent "Blooming Baroque" (Blühendes Barock) garden.
