Lunugamvehera National Park in Sri Lanka is a significant conservation area that spans approximately 23,498 hectares. Established in 1995, the park serves as a wildlife corridor for elephants migrating between the Yala National Park and Udawalawe National Park. It features diverse habitats including forests, grasslands, and wetlands, which support a variety of flora and fauna. In addition to elephants, visitors may also encounter species such as leopards, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.
