Manjanggul is a renowned lava tube located in Jeju City, South Korea. It is one of the finest lava tunnels in the world and part of the Geomunoreum Lava Tube System, which has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Stretching over 7.4 kilometers, Manjanggul features an impressive array of stalactites, stalagmites, and other unique volcanic formations. The tunnel is known for its large size and well-preserved structure, with some sections open to the public for exploration. One of the highlights is the "Stone Turtle," a rock formation that resembles a turtle and is said to resemble the shape of Jeju Island itself.
