Massabielle Grotto in Lourdes, France, is a significant Catholic pilgrimage site where, in 1858, a young girl named Bernadette Soubirous reported experiencing a series of visions of the Virgin Mary. Located at the base of a rocky cliff near the Gave de Pau River, the grotto has since become a place of spiritual importance and healing. Pilgrims from around the world visit to pray, light candles, and collect water from the nearby spring, which is believed to possess miraculous properties.
