Maya Bay in Ko Phi Phi Le, Thailand, is a stunning tropical paradise renowned for its clear turquoise waters, towering limestone cliffs, and soft white sandy beach. Located within the Hat Noppharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, the bay gained international fame after being featured in the 2000 film "The Beach" starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The area is a popular spot for snorkeling and diving due to its vibrant marine life and coral reefs. To preserve its natural beauty and ecosystem, Maya Bay was temporarily closed to tourists from June 2018 until January 2022, allowing the environment to recover from the effects of over-tourism.
