Medininkai Castle is a historic structure located in the village of Medininkai, Lithuania. Built in the early 14th century, it is one of the largest and best-preserved medieval castles in the country. The castle features a rectangular layout with four corner towers and a large, central keep. Originally constructed for defensive purposes, it played a significant role in protecting the region from invasions by the Teutonic Knights and other hostile forces.
