Melikhovo is a historic estate located in the Chekhovsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, best known as the former residence of the renowned Russian playwright and author Anton Chekhov. Chekhov lived there from 1892 to 1899, a period during which he wrote some of his most significant works, including "The Seagull," "Uncle Vanya," and "The Three Sisters."
