Merikasarmi is an architectural complex located in Helsinki, Finland. Originally designed by architect Aarno Ruusuvuori, the building was completed in 1984 and served as the headquarters for the Finnish Defense Forces. The structure is notable for its Brutalist architectural style, characterized by its use of raw concrete and minimalist design. In recent years, Merikasarmi has undergone extensive renovations to serve as the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.
