Meteor Crater, also known as Barringer Crater, is a well-preserved impact site located near Winslow in northern Arizona, USA. Formed around 50,000 years ago by a meteorite estimated to be about 160 feet (50 meters) in diameter, the crater is roughly 3,900 feet (1,200 meters) in diameter and 560 feet (170 meters) deep. This natural landmark offers a unique glimpse into the effects of extraterrestrial impacts on Earth and is a popular destination for tourists, researchers, and space enthusiasts.
