Mljet National Park, located on the island of Mljet in Croatia, is a stunning natural reserve known for its lush Mediterranean vegetation, crystal-clear waters, and rich biodiversity. Established in 1960, the park covers the western third of the island and features two saltwater lakes, Veliko and Malo Jezero, which are connected to the Adriatic Sea. Visitors can explore the park's dense forests, discover its diverse wildlife, and visit the historic Benedictine monastery on the islet of St. Mary.
